Pediatric dental care at Mosaic
Our children’s dental health team welcomes all children, from infants to young adults.
Our friendly, caring dentists make sure your kids feel comfortable in the dental chair by keeping them laughing and having fun. Building their trust is our number one goal.
You know your child better than anyone else, which is why we take the time to listen to your insights, observations, and concerns. Every kid is unique and we look forward to working together to keep them smiling.
When to schedule your child’s first dental appointment
Good dental habits for kids start early! It’s never too early to start brushing your baby’s teeth and teaching your kids the importance of good oral hygiene. Healthy habits are the best way to prevent cavities and other issues later on.
We recommend bringing your kids to their first dental visits by age one or as soon as they get their first tooth.
We can show you how to brush your baby’s teeth, answer any questions you might have, and help you motivate your kids to brush and floss every day.
What to expect at your child’s first dentist visit
At your child’s first dental appointment, we’ll spend time getting to know you and your child and answering any questions or concerns you might have about their dental health.
During our initial visit, we’ll cover:
- Your child’s oral health history
- Important developmental milestones
- Practical strategies for preventing cavities and other issues
- How to build healthy brushing and flossing habits
- Ways to prevent injury
